The PSD Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2023 was held on April 28th, 2023, to announce the company’s goal of reaching 10.500 billion Vietnam dongs in FY 2023.
According to PWC’s report for 2022, the Company’s consolidated revenue was VND 8,956 billion, which increased by 2% compared to the 2021’s, and consolidated pre-tax profit was VND 138.6 billion, equaling 86% of the target.
In which, IT business activities contribute the most to PSD’s revenue and profit with 5,662 billion Vietnam dongs in sales, up to 2% from 2021. The electronics and refrigeration (CE) business also had significant growth in 2022, with sales reaching 494 billion, up to 44% compared to the revenue of 342 billion dongs of this segment in 2021.
In the first quarter of 2023, PSD achieved 1,884 billion Vietnam dongs in revenue, equivalent to 18% of whole year plan.
To obtain the goal of 2023, the Board of Directors proposed to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to approve the plan to increase capital by paying the remaining dividend of 2022 at a rate of 25% in shares and issuing shares through optional programs for company’s employees with tentative maximum number of shares are not higher than 4,0113% of the outstanding shares. Then the total of shares issuing will not be higher than 1.6 million ones.
At the end of the meeting, the shareholders and board members decided to vote for Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh as the position of Chairman of the board, and Mr. Le Hoang Giang as the position of board member. Mr. Minh and Mr. Giang have wide experience in management and operation for over 15 years at large enterprises, joint stock companies and investment funds in Vietnam.
With the purpose of expanding company’s business and based on possibility of each business projects as well as legal enterprises in Vietnam, PSD plan to invest in capital contribution, purchase shares of local potential enterprises.
