THE 2024 TARGETS OF PSD: PROFIT GROWTH OF 26% COMPARED TO 2023, EXPECTED DIVIDEND PAYOUT RATIO OF 10%

The 2024 PSD General Meeting of Shareholders have taken place on April 12, 2024 at the head office of PetroVietnam General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company (PSD), Ho Chi Minh City. The participants listened to the Y2023 governance report and approved important proposals, which will be basement for PSD’s business activities in 2024.
According to PWC’s audited financial statements, for year 2023, PSD’s consolidated revenue reached 6.937 billion, approximately 77% compared to the same period in year 2022. In year 2024, PSD set the targets of reaching 7.203 billion revenue, increasing 4% compared to 2023, profit after tax of 80 billion, increasing 26% compared to 2023.
PSD has made a cash 2023 dividend payment at the rate of 8% to shareholders, completely paid on March 28, 2024. In 2024, PSD expects to pay a 10% dividend.
The General Meeting of Shareholders also approved the election for the additional members of Boards of Directors and the Supervisory Board in 2024. The candidates nominated including Mr. Tran Quang Huy as Chairman of the Board, Mr. Cao Thanh Hung as Member of the Board, Mr. Le Minh Kha as Head of the Supervisory Board. These all members have more than 10 years of management experience at Petrosetco’s enterprises.
At the conference, to be representative of PSD, Mr. Vu Tien Duong – Managing Director of the Company said that in 2024, PSD will continue to seek and develop new brands to expand and enrich the company’s products portfolio as well as to increase revenue and profit; strengthen cooperation with domestic and international partners to expand the market, thereby improving the competitiveness and presence of PSD with customers; continue to digitize to achieve efficiency in operational management.
Setting a revenue target of more than 7000 billion dongs while the market still has unpredictable changes, PSD has start the year 2024 with the spirit of constantly moving forward to achieve the setting goals.
