<\/p>\nWorkshop “Harnessing the Power of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in driving organizational Excellence”, led by Mr. Utpal Bora, Microsoft DPSS Lead Vietnam, and Thailand, was held on June 6, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first seminar in the series of PSD Talk, designed specifically for PSD’s core management team with speakers expected to come from the Company’s Partners and Customers.<\/p>\n

Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is one of the cultural values that many big companies today are trying to build for attracting and retaining talent. However, the results are still not as expected. The main issue is how a business can retain employees instead of focusing on recruiting new people. At the seminar, the PSD management team learns with Mr. Utpal Bora how important diversity and inclusion is in building collaborative relationships and driving efficiency and productivity within an organization. Participants joined in fun mini games together, experienced and learned how unconscious biases & stereotype images in our brain acts as barriers in extracting best out of people, thereby each of manager can limit mistakes in process of managing by promoting D&I in daily work.<\/p>\n

“Diversity” in a team can be a major barrier in involving different people to a common goal and direction. However, it is also a precious element to create a strong team if those different people can be exploited appropriately, have opportunity to combine their own advantages, then being better connected.<\/p>\n
At the end of the seminar, Mr. Utpal sent the message: the story of ” Inclusion in diversity” is still a big challenge, a difficult problem without a correct answer for all cases. But once you have knowledge and understanding of diversity among the team, it is believed that each Manager at PSD will always be aware of their own responsibility to create an environment and opportunities that help each member of the team can all harmonize and connect with each other in the common goal of PSD.<\/p>\n
