Petrosetco Distribution (PSD) year end conference 2023 was hold on January 16, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of management boards and more than 140 delegates representing for nearly 300 employees nation-wide of the Company.
At the conference, on behalf of management board, Mr. Nguyen Manh Lan – Deputy Director in charge of sales and business development briefly shared about Company’s performance results in 2023 According to Mr. Lan, although some key ICT brands of PSD such as Dell, Asus, Apple, LG still maintained market share or growth compared to 2022, the overall results of PSD Company did not meet the targets set for the year. Face the fact, Mr. Nguyen Manh Lan strongly admitted that PSD people had been passive in dealing with the crisis period of the market At the same time, he also highlighted what needs to be done in 2024 to enhance PSD’s resilience and to regenerate energy of PSD employees for keeping its position as one of the leading professional distributors in Vietnam. Mr. Lan emphasized that in 2024, after transferring Apple’s non-Phone business system to the Petrosetco High-tech Products Distribution Joint Stock Company (PHTD) since January 1, 2024 following the strategy of Petrosetco Corporation, PSD will focus on restructuring, rearrange resources of all categories to increase labor productivity and optimize operating costs, as well as continue to invest in expanding customers lists, increasing coverage and proactively adding more brands to the PSD’s distribution ecosystem.
Mr. Vu Tien Duong – the Managing Director, affirmed that there are still many challenges ahead in 2024, then it is important for each PSD member, from the leadership team to the staff, to drastically change mindset to seek for new approaches, new solutions. That spirit has been built among PSD during the past 17 years.
At the end of the conference, PSD honored 07 individuals and 02 teams with excellent achievements in 2023, as well as announced the sales kick-off award with a 20-million-VND-trip-abroad for 04 sales representatives who had revenue achievement ranking among the top 5% of nation-wide and reached the target earliest.
The achievements of these outstanding individuals have officially ended the year 2023 for all PSD members as a sure affirmation for the PSD spirit – Keep moving forward.
